Bullying in Schools

Bullying is a very serious problem, affecting countless children and youth.  With the advent of the Internet, and other electronic mass media outlets, it has become even more critical to address.  It is not just the verbal, physical, and psychological abuse these children and youth are subjected on a daily basis on school campuses, but it continues through mass media outlets i.e., Facebook and others.  Many victims of Bullying in Schools are already victims of child abuse at home.  However, some of these children and youth who are victimized at home, become bullies at school, as to say “payback time”, and others continue to be victims at schools.  This is why it is imperative to involve and include parents, teachers, and counselors, as a holistic approach to eradicate this school epidemic, which everyday is destroying and claiming more lives.

Parents, teachers and counselors must be trained on Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Awareness, as well as Life and Parenting Skills, not only to strengthen the lives of this population, and detect the signs of bullying, but also to intervene during its early stages by discouraging this behavior from bullies, and at the same time help its victims

Bullying in Schools, if not addressed and aggressively controlled, will usually evolve into Teen Dating Violence, and eventually into Domestic Violence and Child Abuse.

The Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Awareness, and the Life and Parenting Skills Training Program, provided by Genesis Life Management, address specific areas dealing with Bullying in Schools namely: Child Abuse; Self-esteem; Communication; Conflict Resolution; Anger Management; Accountability, and Stress Management.
